Thought for Food
We invite you to attend an event recognising the valuable contributions of Fairtrade, Uttlesford Food Bank, The Young Farmers, and The Salvation Army in supporting and distributing food within the community. This event will offer opportunities to gain insights, connect with others, and engage in interactive prayer stations. A video presentation highlighting the work of these organisations will be shown throughout the gathering.
Additionally, we will mark the launch of the United Reformed and Methodist Church’s monthly ‘Soup on Saturday’ initiative. Your participation is welcome as we commence this meaningful programme.

Modern slavery
Helping survivors of modern slavery out of danger and building a new life
Modern Slavery can take many forms and it can be hard to spot, even though it’s often happening right where we are, but hidden in plain sight.
Many people are tricked, traded, and trapped into modern slavery by criminals as they try to escape poverty, persecution, and conflict.
We provide specialist support to protect and care for all adult survivors of modern slavery in England and Wales through a government contract which was first awarded in 2011.
Our confidential referral helpline 0800 808 3733 is available 24/7. Watch the video below to find out more about the people we help and how we work with them. For more information, click here.
